Mary Ella (Hoffman) Rogers, 81, of Moriarty, NM passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. Mary was born March 29, 1926 in Coyote, NM to James Arthur Hoffman and Sarah Jane (Gravlee) Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brothers, sisters, son (John Rogers) and daughter-in-law, Carol Rogers (wife of Billy Rogers). Mary married William (Bill) L. Rogers Sr. on December 15, 1941 in Albuquerque, NM. Mary is survived by her husband, Bill Rogers of Moriarty, NM; daughter, Georgia Guenther and husband, Louie of Moriarty, NM; sons, William L. Rogers Jr. of Blanchard, OK; Jesse Rogers and wife, Sally of Moriarty, NM; daughter-in-law, Tona Wilson Rogers Moore of Las Cruces, NM; three sisters of California; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Viewing will be held Friday, Feb 15, 2008 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at the Moriarty Church of the Nazarene; Pastor Richard Jimenez will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Barton, NM. Pallbearers will be John Rogers Jr., Leo Rogers, Will Rogers, Trent London, L.T. Guenther, Brian VanDemark and Charles Rogers.
