Dennis "DEZZ" DesJardins CMSGT RET. Passed away January 28, 2008. Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin February 2, 1943. Enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1961, serving 28 years, stateside and over seas. He was awarded the "Legion of Merit" along with other prized decorations and acquired countless friends during his period of service. Dezz moved to Albuquerque after retirement from the USAF. In Albuquerque he worked as the GM for a contracting agency until April 2006. Dezz was a very proud member of the Rio Grande Corvette Club and Oldsmobile club. He was also very proud of his involvement in the Make a Wish Foundation here in Albuquerque. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Anja; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Ryan; and three granddaughters: Leah, Kylie and Terra; and by two brothers: Gary and Bernie, and one sister Mary. Services will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Make a Wish Foundation.
