Eleno "Leonard" M. Zamora Jr., born September 17,1925 was called to be with our Heavenly Father on January 13, 2008. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Mary "Stella" Chavez. Leonard is survived by his three brothers, Lee (Stella), Billy (Candy) and Robert (Donna); his five children, Don Zamora, Lorraine Milligan, Valerie Silva, Rhonda Yrene, Len Zamora; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Leonard also leaves behind many dear relatives and a lifetime of friends. Leonard served in the United States Coast Guard and Navy during WWII and Korean War. "Toastie" went onto a 32 year career with the Albuquerque Fire Department. Leonard was an avid golfer and devoted family man who also loved to sing. Memorial Service will be held in his memory at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl. NE, on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. The Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to gather at VFW Post 401, 201Girard Blvd. SE, throughout the day. In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
