Mary Eloise Kessler, 85, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on January 28, 2008 with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Kessler was born on April 26, 1922 to Sylvia Irene Parker. She was later adopted by Marvin Carl and Hattie (Fuller) Ervin of Gallup, NM. Mary met the love of her life, Chester V. Kessler, at Belen High School. They married in June 1939 in Albuquerque. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. She was a member of the Welcome Wagon of Rio Rancho, Women of the Moose, and Eastern Star. Mrs. Kessler is survived by her husband, Chester, of 68 years; sons, Henry Russell Kessler and his wife, Sharon, of Soldier, KS, Carl Ray Kessler and his wife, Cheryl, of Albuquerque, NM, Paul Edgar Kessler and his wife, Betsy, of Ludlow, MA, and Ernest Gayle Kessler of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Rick, Jeff, Sherry, Ken, Vicki, Mary, Kristine, Karla, Andy, Mike, Drew and Sandy; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Leslie Jordan, Russ Burden, and sister, Euella Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Burden; stepmother, Nezzie Lee Ervin; and brothers, Bernard Jordan, Marvin Ervin, and Carl Ervin. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Kessler will be held on Tuesday, February 5th, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM.
