Doreen E. Burt, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since moving from Beausejour, Manitoba Canada in 1961, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Jack Burt of Albuquerque, NM; children, Kelly Burt, Darryl Burt, and Glenda McGuire, all from Albuquerque; grandchildren, Amber Burt and Brandon Burt; sisters, Martha May, Erna Palmer, Elsie Patzer and Margaret Wass; brother, Al Martin and many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Burt was preceded in death by sisters, Emma Henschell and Esther Schmidt, and brother, Fred Martin. Doreen was a member of Sandia Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her positive, loving energy was the power that kept her family united, and she will be greatly missed.
