Doug Jarrell, 81, a resident of Belen, passed away at home on Friday, January 25, 2008, after an extended illness. During his latter years, his favorite pastime was playing golf at the Tierra Del Sol Country Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Jan, Deedra and Dan, Susan and Jeff, and Steven and Deidre; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
