JOSE HERMINIO Mr. Jose Herminio Martinez, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 21, 2008. Mr. Martinez is survived by his beloved wife of forty-eight years, Julia; his children, Michael Martinez, Mary Herrera and husband, Albert, Matthew Martinez and Beatrice Torres; his brothers, Tranquilino Martinez and Adolfo Martinez and wife, Ernestina; five grandchildren, Natasha and Victoria Martinez, Lorenzo, Mario and Esperanza Herrera; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Epifania Martinez; brothers, Napoleon Martinez, Ignacio Martinez and Joe Martinez; and his sister, Rosa McGonigal. Mr. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 23, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Manuel Facio at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday from 8:15 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00, Father Joe Vigil, presider. Private burial will follow at a later date. Pallbearers will be Michael Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Albert Herrera, Lorenzo Herrera, Marcos Johnson and Napoleon Martinez Jr. Honorary pallbearer Mario Herrera.
