Rubel Romero Sr., age 86, and a resident of Algodones, NM, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008, peacefully at home with his family. Rubel was born on December 16, 1921 in Madrid, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy and his son, Christopher. Rubel is survived by his ten children; 24 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Algodones, NM.
