Elmer McBurney, age 98, passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2008. He was born in Quinter, Kansas. Elmer was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine. He is survived by his daughters, Anne Slease of Albuquerque, NM, Jan Canterbury and husband, Vic of Kansas City, MO; son, Robert McBurney and wife, Patty of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Waldo McBurney of Quinter, KS.
