Linda G. Davis "Terry", 74, passed away on January 10, 2008, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born March 19, 1933, in Newark, New Jersey, to Leland and May Gay, where she lived until 1977. Terry had lived in Albuquerque for the past 3 years, previously a resident of San Diego, CA. She worked for New Jersey Bell and Mountain Bell for the majority of her days, working with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department during later life. Terry will be remembered for her fearless independence, her fantastically ironic sense of humor, and her love for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Beverly D. Boyd and her son David F. Boyd, both residents of Albuquerque, and daughter Beth A. Abbott (nee Boyd), resident of Brighton, England; three grandchildren; and her brother Leland Gay III, resident of Long Valley, NJ. She is preceded in death by her first husband, William David Boyd, of Red Bank, NJ. There will be no public memorial service; however, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Terry to the Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico, 112 14th St SW, 505-243-3618.
