Elias Cruz was born on January 31, 1922 and passed away January 2, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose P. Cruz; mother, Catalina Martinez; and his wife, Della Babcock Cruz. He is survived by his children, Dora Montano, Rebecca Lucero, Georgia Cruz, and Wayne Babcock and wife, Ruby, nine grandchildren: Michael Montano, Martha Anaya and husband, David, Sheila Lachelt, Diana Nelson and husband, Gary, Donna Northup and husband, Brad, Karen Mitchell, Mark Castillo and wife, Karen, and Patrick Babcock and wife, Marissa, 25 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. Cremation has taken place.
