Eleanor Santillanes, 84, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2008. She was a lifetime parishioner of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo V. Santillanes and by a daughter, Susan Ann Santillanes Hall. She is survived by four daughters, Janette Chavez and her husband, Manuel, Loretta S. Gonzales and her husband, Francisco R. Gonzales, Cathy Santillanes, and Edwina Santillanes all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Victor Chavez, Michael Santillanes, Benita Garcia, Jesus Andrade, Edwina Andrade, Denny Alan Hall, and Amy Hall; five great-grandchildren, Marianita Chavez, Michael Santillanes, Jr., Mateo Santillanes, Aiden Hall, and Erik Garcia, Jr., and numerous other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, January 9, 2008, 7:00 p.m., at. French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 10, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Santillanes, Victor Chavez, Erik Garcia, Joe Hernandez, Robert Santillanes, and Benjamin Santillanes. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesus Andrade and Angelo Flores.
