Georgana Fellis Day, age 57, was born August 6, 1950. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, she passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Georgana is most remembered for her love and care of all of her family. Her passion for animals lasted all of her days. Georgana was also known for her flower arrangements and her many beautiful rose bushes that adorned her yard. May your beautiful smile and loving disposition always be in our hearts. Georgana was preceded in death by her parents, Peter J. Fellis and Evelyn Hill Fellis. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas R. Day; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Day; one son, Peter Whitcomb Day; two grandsons, Scot Marshal Mueller and Preston Michael Day; one sister, Mary Helen DeMasters; uncles, Gus Hill and wife, Mary Ellen and Frank Hill of El Paso; aunt, Dorothy Hill of Roswell; her most cherished friends, Bob and Rita Wilcox and Tony and Stella Oglesby; many other loving family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Marks on the Mesa Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Pl. NE, on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Georganas name to the Animal Humane Association, 615 Virginia SE. Albuquerque, NM. 87108.
