Roberto I. Arguelles was born on April 4, 1941 and passed away on January 2, 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josefina Quintero Arguelles; father, Julio Arguelles; and brothers, Manuel Arguelles and Lorenzo Arguelles. He is survived by his wife, Julia Arguelles; sons, Robert (Bobby) Arguelles, Carlos Arguelles, Will Arguelles, and Gabriel Arguelles; grandchildren, Alicia Arguelles, Amber Arguelles, Monica Edenfield and husband, Josh Edenfield, Gabriel J. Arguelles, Jonah Chavez, and Christopher Arguelles; great-grandchild, Noah Arguelles; sisters Gloria Arguelles and Guadalupe Rodriguez; and numerous nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be Gabriel J. Arguelles, Josh Edenfield, Benjamin Herrera, Bill Lopez, Sergio Macias, Luis Cabellero, Alfredo Cabellero, Albert Macias Jr., and Jose Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Arguelles, Jonah Chavez, and Noah Arguelles. A viewing is being held at Riverside Funeral Home on Friday, January 4, 2007 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a Rosary following at San Felipe Church in Old Town at 5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, January 5, 2007 at San Felipe Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
