Rachel R. Ibarra, 55, a resident of Albuquerque died Wednesday, December 26, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Heriberto Ibarra Sr.; daughter, Cristi Ibarra; and son, Heriberto Ibarra Jr. Rachel was a loving wife and a wonderful mother who always put her family before herself. She loved her children with all her heart. Rachel was the kind of person that left a lasting impression on everybody she met. When family members remember Rachel, they think amazing, caring, and a loving woman. When friends remember her, only one word comes to mind, "Best friend". Rachel loved her work with a passion and was always eager to learn more because she loved helping people. When her son was deployed to Iraq, she was an active member of the Blue Star Mothers and was very patriotic with a deep love for her country. She was an avid church goer and attended mass every Sunday at Holy Family. Rosary was held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Holy Family Parish, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 3, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish.
