Lois L. (Emery) Brown, age 89, passed away December 29, 2007, at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on August 2, 1918, in Fulton, Indiana, to parents, Cretie Jane (Ausman) and Carl C. Emery. Lois resided in Albuquerque since 1947 with her loving husband of 70 years, Marvin H. Brown. In Albuquerque she worked as an assistant for Fox Printing Co. for many years, and was a working, active member of University Heights United Methodist Church. Lois enjoyed her family activities, quilting, and sewing. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her sister, Opel Champ. Lois is survived by her daughters, Pauline Nipper and husband, Tom, of Locust Grove, GA, Charlotte Campbell and husband, Jarret, of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Donna Poole of AK, Sam Nipper and Harold Nipper, both of GA, Marletta Warner of WI, Charlene McDonnough of SC, Tina Maxwell of NM, Roseann McDowell of NM, Joy White of AZ, and Daniel Bullard of AZ; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale and Doyne; sister, Maxine Scutt. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., at the Coal Location of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, with a Funeral Service to ensue at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Reverend Wayne A.
