Obituary for WILKIE

James B. Wilkie, a resident of Acantilado Vista in Rio Rancho, passed away on December 17, 2007. He was born on August 11, 1916 to Frank and Agnes Wilkie in Buffalo, NY. He attended Bennett High School and a year of college before joining the United States Army during WWII. After an honorable discharge he ran the family business of retail men's clothing. He subsequently went into sales and retired from National Fuel Gas of western NY in 1984. Jim was a great fan of golf and football and it was his lifelong desire to see the Buffalo Bills win a Superbowl. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jean Wilkie. They moved from Buffalo to Taylor Ranch in 1993. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William and Pamela Wilkie of East Highland CA and step-children, Donald Dentler of Albuquerque and Patricia Dentler of Los Alamos.
