John (Jack) Baird - Born April 8, 1938, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 6, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. He moved to Albuquerque in 1985 where he opened a Meineke shop with his brother, Jim Macken. Besides his family, he had the greatest love for stock cars and racing. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cecelia and his five children - Kathy Cipriani, Henry Herris, Johnny Herris and his wife, Debbie, Eddie Baird and his wife, Sandi, James Robert Baird; and his brothers, Robert Macken and his wife, Patty, James Macken and his wife, Grace; grandchildren - Johnny, Jenniffer, Kyle, Kelly, Tuesdaye, Bubba, Aaron, Christy, Sara, and Holly. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 9, 2007 between 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
