VIRGINIA L. Longtime Sacramento resident, Virginia L. Lawrence, 92, passed away December 1, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM where she had resided the past six years. Virginia is survived by her son, Brit and his wife, Debra of Chama, NM; by her granddaughter, Michelle Mulkey and her husband, Duane and great-grandchildren, Karlee and Garrett of Albuquerque; by her grandson, Rocky Lawrence and his wife, Kelly; and great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Braeden of Albuquerque; by her nieces, Denice Shipp, Adra Ann Ames and Margaret Hart of Sacramento; and by her wonderful friend, Amelia Scivier, of the Village of Alameda in Albuquerque. In Sacramento, Virginia worked for the General Electric Company for over 30 years. She was an enthusiastic volunteer for the Los Ninos Service League for many years. She also traveled extensively and had visited every continent. Virginia will always be loved and respected for her success in life. She will be remembered most for her dedication to her family. A Memorial Service will be held at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback lane, Sacramento, CA on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Virginia's name to the Los Ninos Service league, 2760 Sutterville Road, Sacramento, CA 95820
