Kirk D. Stansbery, 57, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1983, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2007. Kirk was born November 17, 1950 in North Platte, NE. He had been a carpenter in the commercial construction business. Kirk loved music and often performed with various family musical groups as lead vocalist, and guitarist. He also performed with the group Goldentones. Kirk is survived by his parents, Allen and Wanita Nichelson; brothers and sisters, Dee of Richmond, CA, Kipp of Rio Rancho, NM, Darrin of Richmond, CA, Dale of Sacramento, CA, Patrick of Albuquerque, NM, and Stephane of Nebraska City, NE; five nieces, Emily, Ciara, Kaila, Leah, and Dana. The visitation for Kirk will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. The Service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Outreach Center, 2900 Southern Blvd., SE, Rio Rancho, with Pastor Kent Barnard officiating. Interment will take place at a later time.
