Edwardo "Eddie" B. Chavez was born July 9, 1937 in Polvadera, NM. He passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Filomeno U. Chavez in 1978; his mother, Felesita B. Chavez in 1990; his brothers, Tommy B. Chavez in 2005 and Philimon B. Chavez in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carmen Z. Chavez of the family home; two daughters, Rosemarie Garcia and husband, Gil, Yvonne Trujillo and husband, Paul; three sons, Eddie Chavez Jr. and wife, Virna, Steve E. Chavez and wife, Krishanna, Anthony I. Chavez and wife, Crystal; three sisters, Lucaria Carrasco and husband, Fred, Frances Mora and husband, Victor, and Gertrude Sedillo; three brothers, Nestor B. Chavez and wife, Mary, Ray B. Chavez, Frank B. Chavez and wife, Myrna; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2007. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Armando Garcia, Marcos Chavez, Patrick Holmes, Paul H. Trujillo, Gillie Garcia, and Jacob E. Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be Dominico Chavez, Anthony J.
