Robert Rossberg, age 64, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, Belen Area Radio Control Club and Belen Moose Family Center Lodge # 1680. He and his wife owned and operated Rio Electronics in Belen for 20 years. Robert had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being with his family and friends. His grandson, Rory was the light of his life. They were great friends and enjoyed spending time together. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marion Rossberg. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Frances of the family home; daughter, Eilene Smith and her husband, Brendan; son, Bobby Rossberg; grandson, Rory Rossberg; sister, Dolores Jensen and brother, Kenneth Rossberg both of Chicago, IL. The family wishes to thank Presbyterian Hospice for the loving care and support they gave to Robert and his family. Cremation had taken place. A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
