Reverend Ray Hunter passed away on November 16, 2007 at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice. Rev. Hunter was a longtime resident of Albuquerque. He served five years in the United States Air Force. He was a faithful member of New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop David C. Cooper. He was called to the ministry while at New Hope. In 2004, he was called to pastor the Harvest Heavenly Church here in the city. He was a member of the Minister's Fellowship of Albuquerque and Vicinity. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 13 years, Joe E. Hunter, of the family home; four step-children; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters. REVISED SERVICE TIME: an evening Service will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1901 Pennsylvania Ave., beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
