Obituary for WALTON

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Thursday November 08, 2007

JANE CECIL "GOGGIE" WALTON Goodness and mercy have surely followed her all the days of her life, And she will now dwell in the House of the Lord forever. After 89 years of living fully in the first of this promise, Jane set forth on the second and took her place in the Lord's House in the early morning hours of November 7, 2007. She goes to join her husband, Jack; her son, Gene; and other beloved family members and friends who have gone before to prepare her way. She leaves behind those who love and respect her and were so very blessed by her presence in their lives: daughter and her husband, Donna and George Faulhaber; grandchildren, Michael and Jalayne Faulhaber, and Annie and Richard Lopez; daughter-in-law and her husband, Ann and Alon Carter; grandchildren, Amy and Ted Occahilano, Kelly and Ben Boersma, Elizabeth and John Griffith, and Ben Walton; sister-in-law, Betty Walton. She delighted in and, in return, brought delight to her three great-grandchildren: Zayne and Kai Faulhaber and Brooklynn Lopez. She would want to be - and will always be - remembered and cherished as loving, loyal, caring, fun, and generous. A welcoming mother, a devoted grandmother, a cherished great-grandmother and always a friend, she does indeed leave the world a better place for her presence in and involvement with it. A service in honor of Jane's passing and celebration of her memory will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Central United Methodist Church, 201 University NE, 87106 at 4:00 p.m. Should you wish, donations may be made to the church in her memory.
