Christopher Alan Sanchez Jr., 25, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Grants, passed away on November 7, 2007, and is now in heaven with our Lord. Christopher is the beloved son to Chris Sr. and Aileen Sanchez. Christopher is also survived by his brother, Steven Sanchez and girlfriend, Jennifer Gallegos; his sister/cousin, Tabatha Saavedra and family; grandparents, Isaias and Priscilla Archunde and Melba Sanchez; Goddaughter, Mikayla Saavedra; his fiancee, Patricia Chavez; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Senovio and Raquel Archunde, Victor and Beneranda Sanchez; two uncles, Johnny Sanchez and Mark Sanchez; his aunt, Shirley Torrez; and cousins, Archie Salcido and Robert Sanchez. Christopher was a member of the Catholic Church and a Little League Soccer Coach. Visitation for Christopher will be Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grants with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Tim Lujan. Final visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Grants Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Gutierrez, Jared Tafoya, Ed Sanchez Jr., Michael Saavedra, Phillip Marez, and Jerry Sanchez Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Gould, Nick Hernandez, Isaac Tafoya, and Carl Chavez.
