Marinell K. Walter, 85, (yet she always remained 29 at heart), passed away at her home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico on Monday, October 29, 2007. She is reunited in body, heart, and soul with her loving husband, Robert L. Walter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Helene Kenninger and her sisters, Honoria Jackett and Jean Kenninger. She is survived by her brother, Allen Kenninger. She will be greatly missed by her children, Sandy and Larry Baughn of Fayetteville, TN, Pat and Jim Mitchell of Quemado, NM, and Peg and John Hohmann of Mesa, AZ; eleven grandchildren, Scott Baughn, Dee Dee Gagnon, Angela Flanders, Samantha Lalik, Tony Buaghn, Stephanie Baughn, Tiffany Irving, Brett Davis, Casey Davis, Kyle Davis, and Shannon Snipes; and sixteen adorable great grandchildren. She was an inspiration to all that knew her and remains a wonderful role model. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held for both Marinell and Bob Walter on February 29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Daniels Family Funeral Services Chapel at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Marinell Walter to the University of New Mexico Cancer Research and Treatment Center, 1 University of New Mexico, 900 Camino de Salud NE, Albuquerque, NM 87131-0001.
