Louis E. Sato, 85, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Louis was born January 3, 1922 the son of Ben and Tiofila Chavez Sato in Belen, NM. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. Louis was the owner and operator of BEBCO for 40 years here in Albuquerque. Louis and Jinnie enjoyed serving as hosts for the dances held at the Highland Senior Center for many years. He was a former member of Asbury United Methodist Church and Highland Assembly of God. Louis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Virginia (Jinnie) Sato of Albuquerque; three children, Dawn and Bill Williams of Albuquerque, Ginger and Donald Mitchell of Albuquerque, and Andrew Sato of Reno, NV; three grandchildren, Jennifer Grubbs of Albuquerque, Kayla Bailey of Pensacola, FL, and Jamy Cantrell of Rio Rancho, NM; and three great-grandchildren, Mary Vinyard, Justice Grubbs, and Jonah Grubbs, all of Albuquerque, NM. A Celebration of Louis' life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the family home, 5807 Aspen Avenue, NE, Albuquerque.
