Obituary for MYERS

Harold L. Myers passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. He had been a resident of Albuquerque for 61 years. He was born January 2, 1928 in Joplin, MO to Lloyd and Mary Myers. He is survived by Lois, his wife of 53 years; daughter, Cindy Myers of Albuquerque; and son, Patrick Myers and wife, Sandi of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren, Julianna and Jessica Myers of Albuquerque, and Kaitlin and Michael Myers of Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Myers; his mother and father; and his sister, Marlene Knopp. Harold worked at Sandia National Labs for 38 years. He retired in 1990. Harold loved traveling, RVing, the Lobos, and cruising. He threw messages in bottles in the ocean while cruising and received replies from Paris, Canada, Colorado, the Philippines, and Indonesia. A gathering of family and close friends is being planned. A Memorial in Missouri will take place at a later date.
