Obituary for DEMARCUS

James O. DeMarcus, 66, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 1, 2007 and is now in Heaven with our Lord. James is the beloved husband of Mary DeMarcus, married for 42 years. James is also survived by one son, James R. DeMarcus; two daughters, Lisa Ann Pope and husband, Don, Vanessa Lucero and husband, Albert; seven grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Dominic, Andrew, Shane, John David, Brandee, Zachary and Enjoly; four great-grandchildren, Antonio, Dominic, Andrea and Delecia; two sisters, Shirley Tucci and husband, John, Elenor Berlin and husband, Gilbert; three brothers, Sam DeMarcus and wife, Betty, Donald DeMarcus and wife, Erlene and WIlliam DeMarcus; his mother in law, Ruby Martinez; two sisters in law, Judy Molina and husband, Leroy, Veronica Montoya and husband, Casper; one brother in law, Daniel Martinez; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. James was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and the United States Army serving in the Vietnam Era. James retired from T.V.I. as Director of the A.C.H.R. Program and past President of New Mexico V.I.C.A. Visitation for James will be Monday from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Veronica Montoya and Luis Molina. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Bijoy Francis. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with Military Honors by the United States Army. Pallbearers will be Andrew DeMarcus, Shane Boyce, Manuel P. Montoya, Don Pope, Leroy Molina and Kevin DeMarcus. Honorary pallbearer will be John David Lynch. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
