- Doris E. Hood, 79, of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2007. She was born on April 12, 1928 in Estancia, NM to the late Harry A. Nidey and Pauline C (Dean) Nidey. Doris was a 1945 graduate of Albuquerque High School. Following graduation, Doris went to work for Mountain Bell where she worked for 35 years retiring in 1982. She later worked for Hinkle Law Offices for 15 years. Doris is survived by a daughter, Jana Kelly and husband, Garry Kelly; a son, Jeff Hood and wife, Deborah Hood; five grandchildren, Tenaya and husband, Kyle Stephens, Cody Kelly, John Hood, Matt Zamora; and one great-grandson, Cody Michael Kelly; and one sister, Dorothy Wadlow. She was preceded in death by a son, John in 1974. Cremation has taken place and private services will be held at a later date.
