Lenore A. Dix, age 74, went to be with the Lord, on Sunday, October 14, 2007. Lenore leaves behind seven children, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren: children, Margaret, husband Don Piatt, Colburn Dix, Linda, husband Jim Wood, Diane, husband Tony Apodaca, Tonia Tourville, boyfriend Errol Vega, Stacey Dix and Doreen Dix; grandchildren- Cassandra, boyfriend Shaun, Jared, girlfriend Rose, Joshua, wife Schnaysa, Christian, James, wife Chrystal, Anthony, wife Francesca, Alicia, husband Jeff, Damien, Johnathon, Angelique and Brendon; great-grandchildren- Haydon, Devon, Robert, Josiah, Shauntae, Jonus, Scky, Isabella, Serafina, Lexus, and Damien. She is also survived by three sisters, Rebecca Patrick and husband Albert, Patricia Polsky, and Connie Corley; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lynn A. Dix; parents, Veronica and Nestor Martinez; and grandson, Shane Dix. Lenore was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Lenore's family requests that contributions be made in her honor to the American Heart Association.
