Altman Jones Jr., age 66, passed away on October 12, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born to Altman Jones Sr. and Luella in Jackson, MS. Altman was the light of his family. His smile was heart melting. Everyone that knew him, loved him and he them. Altman was very loving to others and gave of himself to others. He was a great example to others. Altman was a beloved and precious brother. He is survived by his sisters, Marlene Chase who was his caregiver for many years, Nancy Casias and husband, Bob, Margaret Albaugh; and he is also survived by five nephews and two nieces. Altman also has a special niece, Luella Kathlene Eastman and special nephew, Wayne Vineyard. Altman was preceded in death by his parents, Altman Jones Sr. who was an evangelical preacher and his mother, Luella, who was an angel. Funeral Services will be held at French Mortuary-Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, on Thursday, October 18, 2007, 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Wendell Owens officiating. Friends may visit on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
