Margie Mary Martinez, 83, passed away Friday, October 12, 2007 at her daughter's home. She was born May 2, 1924 in Albuquerque, a daughter of Andres and Antonia Benavides. Survivors include three sons and two daughters: Tony and wife, Irene Martinez, Baltimore, MD; Jerry Martinez, Monterey Park, CA; Jo-Ann and husband, Sergio Olvera, Sylmar, CA; Andy and wife, Noni Martinez, La Mirada, CA; MargaretAnn Martinez, Rio Rancho, NM; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice and Jennie Chavez, Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Martinez; and one brother, Remy Benavides. Memorial Services will take place in California at a later date.
