Viola M. DeWitt, 81, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007. She is survived by her three nieces, Cindy DeWitt of Chicago IL, Jean Marie DeWitt of Pueblo CO, and Cathy DeWitt-Wiest of Albuquerque; her friends, John Allison and Edna Mary Sands. Viola was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles DeWitt, John DeWitt, Robert DeWitt, Ted DeWitt and Gene DeWitt. She enjoyed working at Korber Electric and helping family and friends at all times. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel Saturday, October 6, 2007, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Graveside Services will follow at Sunset Memorial Park 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be John Allison, Richard Campbell, Mark Carrillo, Ernest Huntress, Manuel Silva, and Paul Wiest.
