Max E. Madrid passed Sunday, September 30, 2007 in Albuquerque at the age of 85. Mr. Madrid was a member of several organizations including the American Legion Post 13, Drum and Bugel Corps, DAV, Barbers' Union and Musicians' Union. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Madrid; daughter, Maxine Gonzales and Al Candelaria; grandchildren, Jason Gonzales and Amanda Blount, and Caricia Gonzales; great-grandchild, Markel Gonzales; nephew, Jimmie Madrid; and niece, Sandra Madrid. Visitation for Mr. Madrid will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 5, 2007 at St. Therese Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124
