Effie Lee Lara, 79, passed away September 25, 2007. She is a longtime resident of Bernalillo. Effie was the caregiver for the family, the lifeline, she kept the family together. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Joe P. Lara, of Bernalillo, NM; four children, Kathleen (Tootie) King and husband Steve, of Santa Cruz, CA, Timmy Lara and wife, Teri, of Sedillo Hill, NM, Lisa Lara Salic and husband, Ray of Bernalillo, NM, and Laura Lara of Bernalillo, NM; several loving grandchildren; great-grandson Noah; brother Joey Sprayberry of Oklahoma, and sister Viola Trussell of Trinity, AL; and Spooks and Roxy, her affectionate and loyal dogs. Memorial services will be held at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd., NE, at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2007.
