Gertrud Hilda Fuchs, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, passed away August 1, 2007 in Kusel Germany. Cremation has taken place. She was born in Sinnsheim Germany January 12, 1921. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Sanchez and husband, Frank of Albuquerque; grandson, Steve and great-grandson Derek Sanchez and great-granddaughter Nina Sanchez of Ramstein Germany; granddaughter. Regina Richardson and husband, Ron of Rio Rancho, great-granddaughters, Ryianna Richardson and Renee Sanchez; great-grandson, Ryan Richardson; niece, Gisela Pinney and husband, Ned of Rio Rancho; niece, Heidi Kath and husband, Fritz of Hamburg Germany. Gertrud loved to ride the bus all over Albuquerque, her favorite pastime was shopping at Coronado Shopping Center. She was a member of the German Edelweise Club coffee klatch and American Legion Post 49 auxiliary. She will be missed by her friends and family.
