Carol Mary May, 84, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007 in Harker Heights, Texas. Carol was a former resident of Rio Rancho. Carol was born April 1, 1923 the daughter of John Albert and Ivy Bertha Hanson Clark in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a teacher, and had taught for 25 years in Michigan and Wisconsin. Carol was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Rio Rancho, and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mel; one son, Mel May, Jr.; two brothers, Jack and Tom Clark. She is survived by one son, John May; two daughters, Eileen Broihier and husband, Charles, and Joanne Peters and husband, Wilbur; one brother, Robert Clark and wife, Diane; one sister-in-law, Betty May; nine grandchildren: and eight great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service for Carol will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM. Arrangements by Daniels Family Funeral Services 4310 Sara Rd.
