Alvin Carl Hirdman, Sr., of Albuquerque, passed away surrounded by his family on September 27, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jacquelyn S. Hirdman, Sr.; two sons, Frederick J. Hirdman and Alvin Carl Hirdman, Jr.; grandchildren, Debora Ann Hirdman, April Marie Tripp, and Michael Carl Eugene Hirdman.; sister, Betty Lou Dixon; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Ann Hirdman, Lenora Knight, Phronie Collins, Louise Spann, and Fay Hansen; many brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews, and nieces. Alvin was in the 82nd division Air Borne band during his service in the United States Army. He was a devoted husband and loving father. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday October 1, 2007 at Sandia Baptist Church at 9429 Constitution NE 87112.
