Ilene Chase, 67, a resident of Rio Rancho & Glorietta since 1987, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2007. She is survived by her children, Tracy Ellen Walker, Julie Jo Koehler, and husband, Greg Leaf; grandchildren, Gabriel, Rebecca and Benjamin. Mrs. Chase was well known as a prominent attorney with a successful practice in Glorietta for over twelve years and worked on many high profile cases. Mrs. Chase was honored as being one of the first women corporate attorneys for Chessie System Railroads in Cleveland, Ohio. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Chase also spent numerous years in Israel as a dedicated Zionist. Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 30, 3:00 p.m. at the home of her youngest daughter, Tracy Walker at 695 Arcturus Ave. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
