Gordon S. Alcantar, age 67, went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2007, following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Mary Alcantar. He is survived by his children, Robert Alcantar, Richard Alcantar, Susan Ann Fletcher, Jimmy S. Anderson, Stephen S. Anderson, Annie M. Anderson-Beal ; his sister, Rose Epperly; his brother, Stewart Alcantar; and his long-time friend, Cathy Owens. Gordon was a truck driver for Roadrunner Trucking and William Thomas trucking. He enjoyed spending time with his cousins in Jalisco, Mexico, driving to Jemez for Native-American Tacos, and playing with his dogs. He will be greatly missed. Seventh Day Adventist Church Service will be held Sunday, October 7, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3715 Silver Ave SE, (1 block South of Central, 2 blocks East of Carlisle).
