Phil V. Maestas entered into rest September 19, 2007 at the age of 87. A resident of La Jara, NM for 37 years. He retired from the Jemez Mountain School District where he was maintenance supervisor for 15 years. He is survived by his wife Shirley; two daughters, Frances Vasquez and Annie Rodarte, both from Los Angeles, CA; son, Leon Maestas of Arizona; grandchildren, Lawrence Rodarte, Daniel Vasquez Jr., Steven Vasquez and Michelle Salcido; great-grandchildren, Justen Vasquez, Laurene Vasquez, Michael Rodarte and Alejandra Salcido; sisters, Agnes Narvaiz, Dora Rivera, Lucy Najera and Beatriz Supnet, all of San Jose, CA. Rosary will be held Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 7:00 p.m Immaculate Conception Church, Cuba, NM. A Mass will be held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at noon at the same church.
