Martha J. Huffman Burgin, passed Sunday, September 16, 2007. She was born on May 6, 1920 to Otis and Annis Huffman in Springfield, IL. She was preceded in death by two younger brothers, John Huffman of Springfield, IL and Jimmy Huffman of Ocala, FL. She is survived by her husband, Arrie (Gene) Burgin, three sons, Michael L. Applegate of Albuquerque, NM, James H. Applegate of Broken Arrow, OK and Gerald R. Applegate of Erie, PA. She was blessed with, and leaves behind, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 21, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho.
