Obituary for GREGG

William "Bill" R. Gregg, 84, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday September 9, 2007. Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lois; son, Howard Gregg and wife, Maureen; daughter, Carol Piskorski and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Todd Piskorski, Jonathan Gregg, Chelsey Cotto; and two great-grandchildren, Quinn and Elliana Gregg. He was born to the late Archie and Hattie Gregg on March 31, 1923. Bill attended Albuquerque High School and graduated in 1941. He actively played football for Coach Wilson. He later joined the United States Navy where he served aboard the aircraft carrier Essex during World War II. Bill attended the University of New Mexico and graduated with 2 degrees (Civil and Architectural) engineering. After retiring in 1988 from K.L. House Construction, he started his own structural engineering business from home. His hobbies included following his grandchildren and their activities. A celebration of life will be held in Bill's honor on Friday September 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel Blvd. Chapel.
