Kenneth H. Cogan, of Latrobe, PA, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the age of 78. During his time here, he served his friends, family, community and country with quiet selflessness. Like many of his generation, Ken taught himself and those around him how to perform many tasks both constructively and artistically. More important, he taught us the value of putting the needs of others above our own. His wife, Helen L. Cogan; children, Connie Wenk and husband, Jerry, Kenneth P. Cogan and wife, Robin, and Scott A. Cogan and wife, Micki; as well as his grandchildren; nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters thank him for his giving and self-sacrifice. A private service will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at a future date. His memory would be honored by volunteering a little time to an organization of your choice or a donation to the American Cancer Society.
