Samuel E. Boughter, 60, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 9, 2007. Mr. Boughter was born on May 18, 1947 to William Charles and Erlinda (Ortiz) Boughter of Albuquerque. He will be remembered for his career in residential and commercial construction. Mr. Boughter was also a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Mr. Boughter is survived by his wife, Vicki Stevens Boughter; his son, Sam Boughter and his wife, Crystal of Albuquerque; daughter, Keli Boughter of Las Vegas, NV, and Jason Ulibarri of Albuquerque; his stepchildren, Kelly Steffen and husband, Mike, and Rich Roach and wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bryanna, and Amara Boughter; and sister, Mercedes Reynolds. Mr. Boughter was preceded in death by his parents, William and Erlinda Boughter. The Visitation and Viewing will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, with the Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE, Albuquerque. Interment will take place at the Boughter Family Ranch in San Miguel County. Pallbearers include Jason Ulibarri, Rich Roach, John Salazar, Robert Blea, Stewart Bailey, and Lionel Juarez.
