Carol M. Edwards, age 51, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2007. Carol was born in the state of N.Y. She is survived by her only daughter, Arianna Shaye Edwards. She will be greatly missed by her best friends, Mary Helen Romero, and Senaida Maas. Carol earned two degrees and became a registered nurse. She spent her life working in various psychiatric units in New Mexico, including the Metropolitan Detention Center. Carol loved to write, and enjoyed gardening, in which she had a green thumb with geraniums. Carol was greatly loved by many friends, co-workers, and will be truly missed. She touched so many lives with her generosity, and loving outreach to others. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
