Obituary for SCHEURING

William "Bill" Scheuring, 87, resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Friday, August 10, 2007. He is survived by two sisters, Marie Lisk and Anna Mae Mehringer; two nieces, Arlene Fincke and Janice McKeever and husband, Robert; several great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; and dear friends, Ernest and Phillip Herrera. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose Viggers Scheuring. He was a retired Air Force Master SGT, and a veteran of World War II and Korea. Bill was a life member of V.F.W. 401 and a 45 year member of Moose Lodge 1417. Although a sheet metal worker by trade, he worked as a maintenance mechanic nine years at Albuquerque Job Corps Center and retired December 31, 1979. Bill was very involved with the Boys Ranch in Veguita and also the Peanut Butter and Jelly School in Albuquerque. Friends may visit Monday, August 13, 2007, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd Chapel. Interment will take place at Napa Valley Memorial Gardens in Napa, CA.
