BRUCE FRANCIS Colonel Bruce Francis King, USAF Retired, born in Solon, OH on April 15, 1925, passed suddenly at Riverside Hospital in Riverside, CA on July 30, 2007. He was a longtime member of Ballut Abyad Shrine and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters. He served 37 years and 2 days in the United States Air Force with distinction and merit, while on flight status, in weapons management, the air warfare college and research and development command before retiring at Kirtland AFB. Two years ago, Bruce and Lousie moved to Riverside, CA to take up residence at Air Force Village West. He is survived by his wife, Louise Sage King; their daughter, Amy King Barbee and her husband, Michael; and two granddaughters, Alexandra and Samantha of Tucson, AZ; their son, Robert Bruce King and his wife, Elizabeth of Santa Fe, NM. Memorial contributions may be made to Ballud Abyad Temple, 6600 Zuni SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on August 17, 2007 at 10 a.m.
