Obituary for APODACA

Monserrat "Charro" Apodaca, 56 died on Tuesday. Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years: Christina Chavez-Apodaca, loving daughters: Maria Raquel, Veronica Diana, and Vanessa Erica; brothers: Jose, Rodrigo, Juan, Gustavo, Edmundo, Ramon, Jesus; sisters: Berta, Luz Maria, Guadalupe, Juana,and Maria Elsa. His love extended to over 50 nieces and nephews but especially to Victor, Francisco, Jesus, Beto, Marcos, EJ, Patricia and Anayeli, April, Alicia. He was a self-employed masonry contractor and a member of the movie union industry, local 480. His hands were hard as steel for his job but yet tender and caring for his family. A viewing will be held on Friday from 5-7 p.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE) followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Life Celebration Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (4th and Stover SW) on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Graveside Service at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Victor Apodaca, Luis Apodaca, Jesus Apodaca Jr., Jesus Apodaca Sr., Alberto Marquez, EJ Alderete.
